Subject: Big News for MHS Students & Families — Twice the Campus, Twice the Opportunity!
Dear MHS Students and Families,
We are thrilled to share an exciting step forward for our school community. Starting in August 2026, buses will connect the MHS Main campus and the MHS Extension at the Innovation Campus, allowing students to take courses at both locations on the same day; this way, students can choose their courses without being limited to a single campus.
This allows us to expand course access and design pathways that empower students to explore their passions and pursue future careers, which aligns with MUSD Strategic commitment #3: Design pathways that empower every learner - students and team members - to explore their passions and pursue future careers.
This opportunity is all about choice and maximizing our resources to benefit our learners. Possible combinations include taking:
2 consecutive courses at the Extension Campus and 4 consecutive at the Main Campus,
an even split of 3 consecutive courses at each,
4 consecutive courses at the Extension and 2 consecutive at the Main Campus,
2 consecutive at Extension, 1 at MHS Main, 3 consecutive at Extension
or 4 consecutive courses at the Main Campus and 1 at the Extension Campus.
Additionally, most students will still be able to take all courses on one campus. We highly encourage you to read through the FAQ for more information.
The students attending any MHS campus for the upcoming school year will be provided the opportunity to update their elective course requests to now include the offerings at the MHS Extension at the Innovation Campus and the MHS main campus.

We are incredibly excited about what this means for our students. Two campuses. One MHS community. Unlimited potential.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students.
With excitement and the art of possibility,
Mr. Wohlman
